A brand new show on NickJr that follows Dora’s bicultural and bilingual footsteps but in CHINESE. It’s too awesome for words.

The show will familiarize the viewing audience with elements of Chinese and Chinese American cultures to promote multicultural understanding in the next generation and goes beyond featuring “culture” as only ethnic food and festivals. Instead, it celebrates growing up in an intergenerational family, having friends from diverse backgrounds, and “habits of the heart” that are Chinese American.

I LOVE IT!! I love the bridging of cultures and languages. I think these shows for kids really encourage the acceptance and normalcy of speaking languages other than English (and European languages).

  1. That’s cool! Speaking of Nick Jr., is that show Blues Clues still on? I always thought that would be a great show to watch on acid!
