Clinton team pushes for Obama as running mate

Filed under: Politics — disciplepete @ 6:47 pm

Yahoo! News:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Hillary and Bill Clinton are again teaming up on Barack Obama — this time saying the first-term U.S. lawmaker, whom they have derided as inexperienced, would be a strong running mate on a Democratic presidential ticket headed by the former first lady.

HAHAH Wtf. I think Tom Daschle, former Senate Democratic leader, broke it down well:

“It may be the first time in history that the person who is running number two would offer the person running number one the number two position,” Daschle told “Meet the Press.”

  1. Right… Barack and Michelle would be just delighted to spend the next 4 years trapped in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolff” lol

I am sure that the last thing Obama wants to do is to learn how to be a Clinton.

  2. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s almost conceited of them to think that Obama would even want to be part of their campaign. I think the only reason she’s still staying in the race is to show that she’s not a quitter and to build credibility for future runs for office (hopefully not the presidency, though). I look forward to casting my vote for Barack Obama in November.
